Music Speed Changer App Reviews
No variable pitch control, only transposition available…..arrrgrrhhhh!
As in Title above.
Even slight changes result in a very electronic sound. More extream changes, and the entire song gains a continus warbling that can get quite annoying. I did not find it very useful, but perhaps other people will have better luck, particularly if they want a more electronic sound. On the plus side, the layout was easy to use and files loaded quickly.
This program does change the pitch or speed effectively but it makes it sound very warbley or computer sounding so be warned. It does not have the same clarity of sound as the original pitch and the instrumentation is most affected but the voices are still usable for listening to for trying to figure out a different key vocally. I have a great IOS app called “Pitch Changer” but I haven’t found the Mac counterpart for it yet.
No sound.
No matter WHAT I do, it has no sound when I play it. It was very useful, but then it just died. Unfortunate.
I haven’t had a chance to try the app because when it launch, it kept crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing. Where’s the refund button? Oh, I kept forgetting, this is Apple App Store, not Google Play.
too many quirks (file locations, interface goobers) and then the output. after numerous attempts, it all sounds like Hypnotoad. wasted my lunch break and lunch money on this. now I’m hungry.
App crashes when importing audio file in Catalina
Dissapointing.. This app does not work in MacOS Catalina. Wasted $2.99. I need a REFUND!!
SJW
Really liked this app - my previous commputer crashed - I bought a new computer - went to the app store and have tried to reinstall the program - w-the icon just spins and spins and then stops. I am getting frustrated.
Not Happy
I downloaded this app because I cut music often. I paid money for it, finding out that it exports songs horribly. It turns songs into fuzzy sounding tracks. I wish I would have known before paying for the app.
Infinite Crash loop
Worked fine for about 3 different songs. Uploaded a 4th wav file and the whole app got into a crash loop. And guess what, there is no way around it. You can clear the cache, delete and reinstall the file and your still hosed. Waste of money and time. Don't bother. Shameful coding and QA.
Doesn't Export Correctly
iMac Pro in 2020, export file is full of glitches. I shold have believed the 1 star reviews.
garbage
nothing but loud static. will NOT open mp3s on imac. wasted money
Warning! Before you buy this read the reviews!
I should have read the reviews.. Have never been able to load a single song. Totally useless. You really should either fix it or just give people their money back. Some of these reviews are from years ago.. I'm running Mojave 10.14.2, and it just crashes every time I try to load a song.
Didn’t even work once
Imported one song successfully. Tried to import a different song, and it crashed. Could never open it again. Total waste.
worked only once
This app worked only once and when I tried to play another file it didn’t work. Error message said “No audio file is opened. Please select an audio file,” when I highlighted a file and hit Play. This is totally waste of my time. The help functionality is so cofusing. Dont’ put so many fucntionality when the basic play back doesn’t work. bad interface design too. Very disappointing
Works Great for me!
This app does exactly what it says it will and it was very affordable. Thank you for sharing an app for adjusting the tempo and pitch of music. Works wonders if you’re into cinema :)
Works fine for me
I had no problems using this app to adjust the speed and pitch of audio clips ripped from a defective reel-to-reel player. (The player’s belt was worn out, so the tapes played slowly and inconsistently.) The app was easy to use and very intuitive. I was able to divide each clip into separate selections (saving each selection individually, as is apparently required) in order to alter each part as necessary. I’d seen the other reviews reporting crashes, but decided to take a chance. The app was stable on my mid-2015 MacBook Pro running Sierra 10.12.6.
crashes
keeps crashing doesnt even work
Hypnotoad is better
too many quirks (file locations, interface goobers) and then the output. after numerous attempts, it all sounds like Hypnotoad. wasted my lunch break and lunch money on this. now I’m hungry.
Crashing in infinity!
I haven’t had a chance to try the app because when it launch, it kept crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing. Where’s the refund button? Oh, I kept forgetting, this is Apple App Store, not Google Play.
It’s ok
This program does change the pitch or speed effectively but it makes it sound very warbley or computer sounding so be warned. Meh
